Reviews

“I like to walk outside, except when the weather gets too hot or too cold. When the weather keeps me inside, I turn to my exercise DVDs to get my workout in. The steps are easy to follow, and arm movements are also part of it to keep the heart racing. All the videos include a warm-up period, high energy walk, power walk and finally a cool down/stretching routine. I liked the music in the high energy walk. The power talk involves interval training with options such as jogging. I even follow her YouTube workout videos. Her channel is Jessica Smith TV.”

“I am a big fan of Jessica. I bought this DVD to update my collection. I was okay with the warm up. It is decent and made me feel stretched and ready for the workout. I had missed her mum and those mother-daughter moments. After the warm up, the high energy 30-minute walk was a little boring to me. I felt like i needed better challenges. I followed the instructor closely as we moved to the power walk stage. This made me feel better. I am glad I bought the DVD and would recommend anyone to buy it.”

“I love Jessica because she gives you excellent cues. The pace is decent, according to my fitness level. Jessica is a trainer I love to watch. On her YouTube channel, she explains modifications you can make to the program if you have mobility issues. I was able to do the first walking routines and found them a bit challenging.”

“I would recommend Jessica anytime. She has such a great personality as an instructor. She is very positive and encouraging; and she provides different levels of intensity depending on your fitness level. I started by watching her YouTube channel; I have been in love with her ever since. I like the way she shoots her videos in a beach like an environment, making it feel like an escape from a boring enclosed environment.”

MOST POPULAR WEIGHT LOSS PRODUCTS WITHOUT PHENTERMINE

There are so many medications and supplements on the market today that are geared towards weight loss. Which one should you choose? Which ones are most effective? How easy is it to get these pills? Many people are interested in taking the drug known as Phentermine Hydrochloride, but there are actually quite a few other options on the market. Let’s discuss some of the various weight loss medications that do not contain Phentermine.

Pondimin

This is an anorectic that contains Fenfluramine. Since this ingredient has been known to cause life-threatening heart conditions, this drug has been taken off the market in the United States. Does not contain any non stimulants similar to CLA supplements. Unfortunately, if you are interested in this drug for weight loss, there is simply nothing you can do. You should speak with your doctor about other options for medications that help with weight loss.

Tenuate

Users of this drug have compared it to Phentermine and have reported good results with use. Just like Phentermine, this weight loss drug is available only by a doctor’s prescription, and patients must reduce their daily caloric intake and increase their physical activity if they want to see results. Unlike with the traditional 37.5 mg dose of Phentermine, which is taken in the morning, Tenuate is usually taken three times per day about an hour before a meal. This is to help with appetite suppression and help the patient to keep portions small in order to lose weight and aid in fat burning.

Xenical

This is another prescription weight loss medication that you can only get with a prescription. It is prescribed alongside a reduction in daily caloric intake, an increase in exercise, and an overall change in lifestyle and daily behaviors. This medication can help to boost weight loss as well as help to prevent gaining the weight back after it has been lost. It is often prescribed to individuals who are considered obese and who have other medical issues as a result of their weight. Obesity can cause a plethora of life-threatening conditions, and for this reason, doctors are willing to prescribe heavier drugs that have more side effects in order to save a life.

Alli

Alli or Orlistat is an over the counter medication that is used to help people lose weight as well as to maintain a healthy weight once their goal has been reached. While it is sold over the counter, it is still recommended to take this weight loss drug under the direct supervision of a doctor. It is recommended for adults only, and just as with any other medication for losing weight, it is to be taken with lifestyle changes that include fewer calories in a day and more exercise regularly.

Belviq

Belviq is a brand name version of the drug, Lorcaserin HCL. This is another prescription only medication that only a doctor or nurse practitioner can prescribe. This particular medication is usually taken twice daily, unlike with Phentermine Hydrochloride, which is usually taken once per day in the morning. It does not come along with some of the harsher side effects that Phentermine does, and it shouldn’t affect sleep nearly as much. Many people who have trouble sleeping on Phentermine have tried this weight loss drug as an alternative.

Bontril PDM

This is another brand name weight loss drug. It’s generic form is Phendimetrazine Tartrate. It is available by prescription only, and you guessed it! You must decrease your daily caloric intake and increase your daily physical activity if you want to have success with this drug. This is the case for every pill that is aimed towards losing weight. You have to put in the work and dedication if you are serious about getting your weight and your health in check.

Desoxyn

This medication is a form of methamphetamine. It is traditionally used in the treatment of ADHD but has also been used for weight loss. Being in the class of amphetamines, this medication can come along with many side effects just like Phentermine Hydrochloride. This medication should only be used under the supervision of a doctor or nurse practitioner.

Didrex (Benzphetamine)

Didrex is a brand name form of Benzphetamine. This drug is used for weight loss along with a doctor recommended diet plan. It is available by prescription only, so if you are interested in this drug, then you should make an appointment with your doctor.

Diethylpropion

This is a brand name form of the drug, Amfepramone. It is a stimulant and only available by prescription as with many of the other drugs listed in this article. It is used to suppress appetite and is only for short term use, similar to Phentermine Hydrochloride.

Meridia (Sibutramine)

Meridia is a brand name form of Sibutramine. This drug is an oral anorectic but has been off the market in the United States since 2010. Just as with the other medications, it was generally only prescribed to individuals who are obese and whose weight poses a risk to their overall health. It was similarly prescribed alongside significant lifestyle changes, as well. This, of course, includes changes to diet and exercise.

Contrave (Bupropion Hydrochloride – Naltrexone Hydrochloride)

Contrave is a combination drug that is used in the treatment of obesity. It contains Bupropion and Naltrexone. Both of these ingredients have shown weight loss results in users and seem to have significant results in those who use both as a combination.

Saxenda (Liraglutide)

This is a brand name form of the drug, Liraglutide. It is traditionally prescribed for type 2 diabetes but has also shown weight loss as a side effect. For this reason, it can be very helpful to obese individuals who also suffer with diabetes. Comorbidity rates are fairly high when it comes to obesity and diabetes, so it is great that there are drugs that can help to treat both while an individual is trying to get their health back in order.

Obesity Health Issues

The 8 Biggest Health Risks Due to Obesity

Do you struggle with Obesity? Don’t feel bad, so do many other people across the country. When your weight exceeds 20% of your height you are considered obese. This article will explain the 8 most common risks associated with obesity and give you some solutions you can use to lose that weight before it becomes a problem for you.

Heart Disease & Stroke

Heart disease and stroke are the biggest health risks associated with obesity. Higher weight can cause both high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Cholesterol builds up inside the blood vessels. This plaque buildup causes the heart to pump harder in order to push the blood through the narrowed vessels. This results in a higher blood pressure. Both high blood pressure and Cholesterol have been shown to increase the chances of developing heart disease and lead to a higher risk of stroke. Cholesterol and high blood pressure can both be reduced by losing weight.

High Blood Pressure

High blood pressure results from obesity. High Cholesterol narrows the blood vessels and forces the heart to work harder, increasing the blood pressure inside the body. High blood pressure is dangerous because it leads to an increased risk for heart disease or stroke. Losing weight can help you lower your blood pressure and cholesterol so you can stay healthy.

Diabetes

Diabetes is another risk associated with obesity. It can be prevented. The body uses the glucose it gets from the carbohydrates you eat as its main energy source. If the glucose level in the blood rises too much, or stays elevated for too long, it can damage your eyes and internal organs. Insulin is produced by the body to help you convert the glucose you produce into energy. For individuals with diabetes, the body does not produce enough insulin to regulate all the glucose that is produced. Those with diabetes must carefully monitor their insulin levels to make sure the glucose levels do not raise too much. If they do, they may have to inject insulin to help them return to normal. Maintaining a healthy weight helps to reduce your chance of developing this serious disease.

Cancer

Several types of cancer have been linked to obesity. Low-level inflammation is common in obese individuals. This inflammation can lead to DNA damage, which causes cancer. Reducing your weight can lower your level of inflammation and lower your risk of developing cancer. Losing weight will also reduce many of those aches and pains common with obesity.

Gallbladder Disease & Gallstones

Obesity has also been linked to gallbladder disease. Gallstones are caused when bile inside of your gallbladder hardens into a solid. It is believed that this is a result of higher cholesterol in the bloodstream. Obese people have more cholesterol in their bloodstream than those with a healthy weight. Losing weight can help lower your chance of developing gallstones or gallbladder disease.

Osteoarthritis

Another risk associated with obesity is Osteoarthritis. This is a condition whereby the cartilage between the bones deteriorates and causes friction. This friction causes severe pain as the bones grind against one another. Obesity is one of the leading causes of this condition. Losing weight before Osteoarthritis develops can reduce your chances of developing it. If you already suffer from it, losing weight will help to alleviate some of the pain you experience.

Gout

Gout is another condition linked to obesity. It is a form of arthritis caused by the excess buildup of uric acid in the blood. When too much of this acid is produced, but not excreted, it can cause needle-like crystals to build up around the joints resulting in sharp pain. These crystals typically form in the kidneys or at the base of the big toe but can form in the tissue surrounding any of the joints. Obesity increases the risk for gout because more uric acid is produced by those who are overweight. Losing weight can help reduce your chances of developing this painful condition; if you already suffer from gout losing weight can help alleviate the pain you experience.

Breathing Problems

Obesity can lead to a number of breathing problems. Sleep apnea occurs when the airway is obstructed during sleep cutting off airflow and oxygen to the lungs. Excess fat around the neck area can cause sleep apnea to develop. Asthma is a condition where the bronchi of the lungs spasms making it difficult to breathe. Physical exertion can trigger an asthma attack. The more obese you are, the more likely it is you will trigger an attack. Losing weight can lower your chances of developing breathing problems and helps alleviate existing problems.

Losing Weight

Losing weight is never easy, but it is worth it. The best way to lose weight is to do so gradually. Sudden weight loss is not good for the body. Here are some ways to take off the inches. First, you should eat a healthy diet. A healthy diet consists of grains, fruits, dairy products, proteins, and carbohydrates. Visit your doctor and see if you can get a prescription for a medicine called Adipex P with Phentermine HCL. Limiting soda, fast food, and snacks like chips can go a long way towards developing a healthy diet. There are many online resources to help you plan a healthy diet for your weight. The second thing you should do is get plenty of exercise. This does not need to be anything elaborate. Just walking around your block each day or taking the stairs instead of the elevator can begin to help. These powerful ingredients will jump start your weight loss and help you achieve your weight loss goals. When you combine diet and exercise you can easily drop those pounds so you can stay healthy.

What To Eat While On Fastin – Learn how to eat properly while taking Fastin diet pills

As you know there are many diets out there, so it’s hard to know where to start when you’re taking Fastin.

Buy Phentermine Alternatives
Phentermine Alternative Discount Offer

Fastin as an appetite suppressant will help you eat less but you still need to know what to eat. Fastin is not meant to work on its own but rather along with a low calorie diet and exercise. You’ll need to plan out your meals for a week at a time and stick to it. Make sure you keep a food diary as well so you have a record of everything you’re doing. You’ll be cutting back your daily calories by at least 500 Calories. That’s a place to start.

You know that you need to make healthy choices so you’re looking for foods that are high in lean protein, have fiber, healthy fats and are low in sugar. Some complex carbs are okay in small amounts. The first two weeks are the most difficult because you need to stay away from sugar as much as possible and you’re only allowed small amounts of complex carbs. After that point you can bring in more complex carbs and small amounts of sugar. You can continue to do this until you begin gaining weight, then you need to cut back on sugars to where you don’t gain weight. So essentially what we’re looking at is a low carb, high fiber, high protein diet.

What is crucial here is that you should not skip meals. You need to eat to lose weight, however you need to eat the right foods and in the proper proportion. When you skip meals, this sends your body into starvation mode. Now, your body is going to try to hold on to its weight for survival. So, always remember you need to eat to lose weight. Also remember that you need to drink a lot of water when taking Fastin. It is recommended that you take in 8-eight ounce glasses of water a day. This helps to keep you hydrated and ward off dry mouth.

Foods to Eat While on Fastin

The idea of a healthy diet while taking Fastin is to look for foods that are high quality. This means foods that have low energy density meaning fewer calories per gram (ounce). So consider veggies, whole grains, beans, lean chicken/pork/beef/fish and possibly low-fat dairy. Veggies, whole grains and beans provide water and fiber and help to control hunger and manage weight for the long-term not just when you’re taking Fastin. So, let’s look at some foods for you to consider.

  • Protein sources – protein is important for every cell in your body but certainly for skeletal muscle. The more lean muscle you have on your body, the higher your metabolism. You will be exercising while on Fastin as that is part of the weight-loss program. As you’re turning fat into lean muscle, you’ll need to make sure you are taking in high quality protein to build lean muscle. Good sources of protein and omega-3s are oily fishes such as salmon, tuna, sardines, anchovies and mackerel. Also consider skinless chicken, 92 percent lean beef, lean pork and turkey. Eggs are also a good source of high quality protein and omega-3s if raised free-range. Don’t forget about nuts and tofu.
  • Fiber foods – fiber is actually not nutritional but rather is needed to maintain intestinal health by keeping the gut clear of debris. Fiber has another redeeming factor, especially when you’re dieting in that it makes you feel full. When you feel full, you are satisfied and will stop eating. Fastin suppresses your appetite making you crave food less therefore eating less while fiber makes you feel full which makes you stop eating. Good sources of fiber include beans, whole grains, veggies and brown rice.
  • Veggies and fruits – you can’t go wrong with veggies and fruits as they contain a lot of water, minerals, antioxidants and fiber. For the first two weeks of Fastin therapy, try to concentrate on mostly veggies because fruit contains a lot of sugar. You can have some fruit but only a few small slices in the beginning. So, concentrate on broccoli, squash (particularly zucchini and yellow neck), cauliflower, green beans, string beans, spinach, kale, cabbage and Brussel sprouts. To get the most benefit out of your veggies, steam them. Many of them are available in steam bags which you can pop into the microwave. Easy cook and no mess to clean up.

Fastin Vs. Phentermine – What’s The Difference

Phentermine has been around a long time and is a well known and used prescription drug used to suppress appetite so that you eat less and lose weight.

Buy Phentermine Alternatives
Phentermine Alternative Discount Offer

It is used in conjunction with a reduced caloric intake and exercise program. It has been approved for short-term use in the treatment of obesity. Phentermine is a generic drug. Fastin was a prescription drug that contained the generic drug Phentermine. Due to severe side effects reported in the 1990s, Fastin was discontinued in 1998. Today there is a new Fastin sold over-the-counter (OTC) but this is a very different product and has nothing to do with the prescription form. It doesn’t contain Phentermine but rather Phenylethylamine, botanicals and a lot of caffeine and it is used as a weight loss supplement as well.

The FDA approved Phentermine (a prescription appetite suppressant) back in 1959 so it’s been around a long time. This is obviously a controlled substance and thought to be mildly addictive. Given that it is related to amphetamines chemically and pharmacologically it has the potential to be abused. Generic Phentermine has been sold under several brand names such as Fastin (now discontinued), Ionamin and Adipex-P. However, most people take the generic form. Phentermine is an effective appetite suppressant, however it has a number of side effects. Some of those side effects include: dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, insomnia, increased heart rate (tachycardia), high blood pressure and nervousness.

A very popular drug for weight-loss in the early 1990s was called Phen-fen. Phen-fen was a combination of Phentermine and Fenfluramine. As time went on, more and more side effects were reported with Phen-fen. In response to this, Fenfluramine was taken off the market. Some time later several of the brand name manufacturers discontinued their brand of Phentermine as well. Fastin was one of them. Fastin was discontinued in 1998. In this case, there is no difference between prescription Fastin and generic Phentermine other than the generic form is generally cheaper and that is why many people buy generics especially when they are the same thing as the branded product.

Interestingly, Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals, the manufacturer of Fastin OTC, was able to purchase the Fastin name and trademark from the former prescription manufacturer which happens to be Beecham. So, Hi-Tech began producing a line of dietary supplements. So far they have 3 Fastin products for over-the-counter. These dietary supplement contain alkaloids which may have similar side effects as the prescription Fastin which includes: increased heart rate (tachycardia) and increased blood pressure.

It is important for over-the-counter (OTC) medications as well as prescription drugs to undergo clinical trials to determine safety ad efficacy. It’s also important to enforce testing standards especially for purity. Prescription drugs have to go through clinical trials and must pass Phase III trials if they are to be sold on the market. Currently, dietary supplements don’t have to undergo clinical trials because they are considered food by the FDA. So, keep it in mind that unless a dietary supplement has been shown to cause harm, it can be sold with few restrictions.
