How to get real skinny on Phentermine

For many dieting and weight loss can become a daunting and overwhelming process, but it does not have to be that difficult.

Many doctors will tell people that the real and only key to weight loss is Phentermine with healthy diet and exercise. It is simple to understand. If we intake more calories than we burn in a given time period, then our body is going to store that energy in the form of fat.

However, when an individual is taking in and burning the proper amount of calories, they will be more easily able to maintain a healthy weight, granted there are not any genetic factors or disorders that are contributing to obesity. This is one reason it is so important to consult with your doctor when starting Phentermine weight loss program. And it is very likely that your doctor will recommend a healthier diet, including more fruits, vegetables, healthy proteins, and healthy carbs. Of course we all need dairy products for calcium, but the dairy group is not known for its weight loss benefits.

Losing weight on Phentermine starts with a healthier diet. Many people believe this only involves portion control, but if you are actually eating healthier foods, then portion can become less of an issue. You can eat certain foods to your heart’s desire without having to worry about packing on those extra pounds. Fruits and vegetables are a perfect example with this, however, be careful of fruits which contain natural sugars and starches. Next up is choosing leaner proteins. These included fish, poultry, eggs, and some nuts.

Many people these days are also opting for protein in the form of a shake, which is OK, but we should all be consuming other forms of protein in our diet. It is also important to cut down or cut out completely the consumption of enriched carbohydrates. Choose whole wheat and whole grains that do not list enriched flour as an ingredient. Stick with lower fat dairy products or limit the intake of higher fat milks, cheeses, or yogurts that are loaded with sugar.

Next up is exercise, of course! This is one of the most important aspects in, not only, losing weight, but maintaining a healthy lifestyle in general. Phentermine definitely helps you with appetite suppression and energy but those who do not need to lose weight must work out for overall health. Aerobic exercise is very important for heart health, and as many studies are showing, any kind of exercise is great for overall strength and health, even mental and emotional health. Exercising causes the body to release endogenous chemicals that help us to feel good, so we stand to benefit in many ways from exercising regularly.

There are so many ways we can get our heart rate up and/or increase strength. Take 37.5mg of Phentermine and do aerobic exercise that includes running, jogging, power-walking, swimming, dancing, and even more obscure methods like hula hooping or martial arts. There are many ways to increase strength, but weightlifting and resistance training seem to be top choices for fitness experts today. As always, consult with your doctor to find out what may be the best options for you. But most importantly, have fun with exercise! Incorporate music, friends, and rewards to keep your motivation up. Joining a gym is never a bad idea. Many of us feel much more motivated towards certain goals if we spend our hard earned money on them. Most importantly, keep positive along your weight loss journey. If you slip, turn it into a valuable learning lesson, but remember to give yourself much needed breaks and rewards. You can do it!

Weight Loss Myths Explained

We are so obsessed with losing weight particularly women. There are a plethora of dieting materials from books to pills like Phentermine and more that are coming out on the market almost every day.

Unfortunately, whether it be the lay or medical professionals, there are a number of myths and false science behind dieting. What I want to do is to take a look at a few of these myths and bring them out into the open and at the same time make suggestions on what you can do to be successful with weight loss.

How to Over Come Weight Loss Resistance

Weight Loss Myths

Calories – In the past, the scientific literature has clearly stated that the calories you bring in should be less than the calories you take out. If it were only that simple, things would be great. Initially this may be true but somewhere along the line you will plateau and at that point you will begin increasing your weight. This is because your brain has set your weight and as soon as it sees that you are losing weight, it will think you are starving and begin to hold on to weight.

This is already preset. You need to also consider that calories from fat, carbs and protein are all different so it makes a difference in what and how much of each you take in. For example, 300 calories in cake (loaded with sugar) is not the same as 300 calories in celery because the calories come from different macronutrients and are used and stored in the body differently. Also consider that being overweight is not a cause but rather a symptom of some imbalance in hormonal pathways or perhaps some other cause. It has been reported that some individuals have tumors in the hypothalamus that can contribute to being over weight. This is not that common but it does happen. Remember, you have probably been on the dieting roller coaster for some time and this in itself can cause problems with weight loss. Essentially, your body and brain don’t know what to do because you have macro nutrient, mineral and hormonal imbalances so your entire system becomes confused. You need to develop a strategy to beat weight loss resistance and keep on track.

Fat – You probably think that consuming fat will make you fat. Well, there is some truth to that especially if you’re taking in the wrong fats. However, your body needs fat but the fats need to be healthy fats such as omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3s are important for maintaining proper cell membrane function in every cell of the body and is particularly important for brain and heart. Most people don’t get enough omega-3s simply because they are eating fast foods and animal products that are not free range, grass fed and also not taking enough oily fishes. Free range, grass fed animals contain a high concentration of omega-3s and are low in omega-6s. Too many omega-6s causes your metabolism to run amok. Many people are taking in foods that produce a ratio of omega-6s to omega-3s anywhere from 20:1 to 50:1. This is not good. The ratio of 6s to 3s should be 1:1 or 2:1. This is very important!. Keep in mind that hormonal communication between cells requires healthy cell membranes. So, even if you have enough of the right hormones floating around, if the cell membrane can’t respond to them then they might as well not be there. Consider consuming avocados, coconut oil and nuts (like walnuts) to increase levels of omega-3s which should help you with weight loss. Don’t forget oily fishes and range free, grass fed chickens, beef and eggs.

Weight Loss Resistance
Medical Assistance – If you’ve had weight loss resistance for some time, now may be the time to get professional help. Your doctor can run tests on a number of medical issues that cause weight loss problems. You can have leptin or insulin resistance, adrenal gland dysfunction, hypothyroidism and a number of other medical issues. These need to be checked and once you know what the problem is, it is possible to do something about it.

Gastrointestinal Dysfunction – If your gut isn’t working properly, this can contribute to weight loss resistance. You may be able to take care of this problem yourself by detoxification with herbal teas and taking in more fiber to clean your gut of debris.

Blueberry Smoothie – The Best Brain-Booster

Did you know that you can enhance brain function with a fruit such as blueberries?  This native North American fruit contains powerful antioxidants (i. e. essential anthocyanins and proanthocyanidins) that can improve brain function.

Research in animals has demonstrated that regular consumption of small amounts of blueberries can slow down impairments in memory, learning and motor coordination (particularly balance) that often occur with aging.  Moreover, blueberries provide a wide range of other health benefits for the body like lowering your cholesterol levels.

Blueberry Smoothie improves brain function

The US Department of Agriculture tested 24 different varieties of fresh fruits, 23 vegetables, 16 herbs and spices and found that blueberries had the highest total antioxidant capacity per serving.  As many people know today, antioxidants are important to your diet to combat free radicals. During normal cell metabolism, molecules are broken down into harmful components known as free radicals that may contribute to cancerous states and age-related diseases if not removed.

It is now believed that diets high in phyto-nutrient antioxidants can actually reverse at least in part certain age related neural dysfunction. Animal studies have demonstrated higher levels of the neurotransmitter dopamine in rats who have been fed blueberry extract. Dopamine is important for controlled motor movements, efficient memory, attention and problem-solving function. Furthermore, it is thought that blueberry antioxidants may increase neuronal cell membrane fluidity and decrease inflammatory components which also slows down the aging process.

With age, your body slowing down

Perhaps you have heard that as you age your brain and body slow down.  Well to some extent this can be true but it is dependent on how well you take care of yourself and diet and exercise are major components.  Do you eat vegetables and fruits everyday?  Now is the time to consider doing so if you haven’t already.

Brain Activities

Neurobiology of Aging Research

Research published in the journal Neurobiology of Aging (Rachel Galli and colleagues, 2005). found a mechanism by which blueberries may reverse brain aging.  They took a look at a particular heat-shock protein in response to blueberry extract in rats against a control. Heat shock proteins are important for fighting against free-radicals and inflammation-inducing molecules. As we age, we produce less and less of these heat-shock proteins leaving us unprotected.  It turns out that old rats who had taken blueberry extract were able to produce a strong heat-shock protein response when challenged with an inflammatory substance. Old rats who weren’t fed blueberry extract (controls) had a weak heat-shock protein response. It appears that blueberry extract was able to reverse the aging process in old rats.

Moreover, another study by researchers at the University of Barcelona found that the phyto-nutrient molecules found in blueberries were able to pass the blood-brain-barrier.  It is necessary for nutrients you take in to be able to get into the brain otherwise there’s no way for them to work.  So, they needed to demonstrate that this is possible.  They found blueberry specific agents in the rat’s cerebellum, cortex, hippocampus and striatum and these are areas responsible for memory, learning, cognition, motor control and balance.  Wonderful!

Fresh Blueberries are the Best for Smoothies

Whether you use fresh blueberries, canned, frozen or extract form, all have been shown to contain the essential antioxidants. A fruit smoothie is a good way to get your blueberries in liquid form and you can add a number of other ingredients as well such as spinach, kale, bananas, dates, chia seeds, protein powders, coconut milk/oil, almond milk and the list goes on. A blueberry smoothie makes it easy for you to maintain brain health for life in terms of memory, learning, cognition and motor function.

Bye Bye Salads – Hello Phentermine?

It seems like when anyone hears the word diet they think of salad and of course the rabbit diet comes to mind (green stuff like lettuce, kale). Some people like salads and others don’t.

Just because you need to go on a diet or are already on one doesn’t mean you have to eat salads. We all have our favorite foods often referred to as comfort food and there is no reason you have to give up your comfort but you just can’t have it all the time. Consider the fact that all salads aren’t green with lettuce or kale. You have 3-bean salads (many varieties), tuna and chicken salad, pasta salads and rice salads. All without greens.

Different Salads

You must always eat salads when you are taking Phentermine and dieting!
